A look ahead to Light+Building 2022 with Mat Hanson

It’s been 4 and a half years in the making, with dates struck off and rearranged on several occasions, but just like those cancelled summer holidays, the waiting has only enhanced the anticipation for Europe’s largest lighting fair. With the long overdue summer break now finally in the bag, our attention turns to Light + Building 2022.

A lot has changed at Holders Technology in the last four years; Holders Austria, Holders New Zealand, Holders Australia and Holders Technology Data Analytics have all come into being and our product range has evolved from a range of lighting component brands to also offering the largest range of Casambi ecosystem products. Our wireless lighting controls range now encompasses partners from Europe, North America and Asia alike. We have further developed our project services offering – from design to commissioning, right through to training and maintenance support. In addition, our newly launched data services are being used by some of the world’s most well-known and reputable companies. With all of these developments, it’s perhaps surprising that 2022 will be our debut exhibiting in the Messehalle of Frankfurt where we hope to slot in seamlessly with the three top themes of Light + Building 2022; Green Deal & Sustainability, Electrification & Digitalisation and Light & Design. These themes complement key lighting trends such as Circular Economy and Smart Buildings, which Holders is working hard to promote in our everyday business.

Not only have we been away for too long, but Light + Building 2022 will also be shorter than previous years, and with fewer days to navigate the halls and four years’ worth of innovation to catch up on, it’s more important than ever to plan your visit efficiently. With that in mind, we want to whet your appetite for what you can expect on the Holders Technology stand. Alongside some of the latest and most innovative developments from our partners such as VairusAir and Casambi, we are most excited to be showcasing our three new data solutions, taking wireless lighting controls, and turning them into Smart Lighting and Smart Building solutions by harnessing the power of data.

1. Holders Technology Data Analytics utilises Casambi’s API to deliver powerful building data including energy consumption, occupancy/space utilization, maintenance and environmental data from across an estate, all through a simple browser-based UI.
2. Holders Technology Emergency Monitoring solution allows estate managers to monitor the emergency lighting status from across a global estate through a single portal.
3. Holders Technology Occupancy Plus uses ground-breaking technology to understand how visitors use a space, helping clients to improve productivity or retail performance.

We’re really looking forward to exhibiting in Hall 8, alongside our friends from Casambi, Enocean, Danlers, Dalcnet, Entity and many others and we hope you can join us in Hall 8, Stand C.40.
Light + Building 2022 runs from Sunday 2nd to Thursday 6th October in the Messehalle, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
